Reflection

The old remained inside the new.

On 12 August, the earlier Archive preserved the moment when loose pink production cord entered the black-and-gold Eye assemblage. It called the object transformed material and work in progress.

The new photographs show the continuation rather than a replacement: the once-loose pink thread has become a concentrated binding beneath the Eye, the beaded strand has been refined, and the object now appears both on the work surface and around the body.

The old sentence remains true in its own time: It was not worn. It was worked. The new record does not erase it. It adds the next state: because it was worked, it could enter form.

Nothing vanished.

The old remained inside the new.

The loose thread became binding.

The working became wearing.

The Eye entered form.

And the object carried the memory of every form it had survived.

The evidence boundary

What the photographz establish.

Visible evidence The new photographs visibly establish further physical transformation and one instance of the object being worn. They do not, by themselves, establish whether that wearing was production styling, ordinary personal use, or another context. That purpose remains open unless separately documented.

Archive law

The new entrance to the old.

Continuation does not cancel the earlier record. It reveals why the earlier record needed the words work in progress.

A previous state does not become false because the object continues changing. Each documented state belongs to its own meeting. The Archive becomes stronger when it preserves the sequence instead of forcing every stage into one final description.

Then: the thread entered the Eye.
Now: the Eye entered form.

The old waz not discarded. It became an archaeological layer inside the present.
